The Role

We are looking for a practitioner who believes that sport is for everyone, not just the "first team."

• Curriculum Delivery: Teach a broad range of sports across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE PE and BTEC Sport options.
• Extracurricular Impact: Lead after-school fixtures and clubs, from football and netball to athletics and trampolining.
• Inclusion: Adapt lessons to engage students of all abilities and backgrounds, fostering a culture of teamwork and resilience.
• Mentorship: Act as a positive role model, using sport to build students' confidence and discipline.

What We Are Looking For

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status): With a specialism in Physical Education.
• Energy & Enthusiasm: A teacher who can motivate a class on a rainy Tuesday in November as easily as a sunny sports day in July.
• Team Player: Someone who will muck in with the department to organise tournaments and inter-house competitions.
• Strong Behaviour Management: The ability to maintain a safe, structured, and high-energy environment both in the gym and on the field.
• ECTs Welcomed: Excellent mentoring is available for those starting their career.
