You will be responsible for planning engaging lessons, delivering high-quality teaching, and supporting students to reach their full potential in English. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, creative, and committed to fostering a love of reading and writing in every student.

Key Responsibilities of Teaching English in Luton

Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4.
Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and effective lessons.
Assess, record, and report on students’ progress and attainment.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
Participate in departmental meetings, training, and extracurricular activities.
Requirements for Teaching English

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in English or a related subject.
Previous teaching experience within UK secondary schools (preferred).
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Passionate about education and student success.
