• Take on management responsibility appropriate for a Senior Lecturer.
• Teach on Childhood and Youth professional qualifications.
• Undertake work‑base/placement visits.
• Play a key role in the development of the provision across the portfolio.
• Provide leadership of the postgraduate JNC provision.
• Maintain knowledge of national and international perspectives and contemporary research and development in childhood and youth studies.
• Contribute to academic publication record commensurate with grade and role.

• JNC‑recognised professional qualification in youth and community work.
• Substantial professional experience in youth and community work.
• Experience in teaching childhood and youth studies at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
• Publication record commensurate with grade and role.
• Knowledge of contemporary research, policy and practice in childhood and youth studies.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
