The Role:

- Contribute to the wider academic, administrative and collaborative work of the School.
About you:
We are looking for an enthusiastic academic or experienced practitioner with strong expertise in Games Design and/or Games Development and the ability to contribute across a broader Creative Media portfolio (e.g. Media and Film (post) Production). Relevant expertise may include game design theory and practice, prototyping and play testing, level or systems design, UI/UX, accessibility, game engines and scripting, computer animation and visual effects, immersive technologies, digital content production, video or post-production.
You will normally have:

- Advanced subject knowledge and an understanding of current developments in Games, Creative Media and their application to professional practice.
- Experience of teaching, training or presenting complex concepts effectively to groups of different sizes and backgrounds.
- Evidence of engagement in research, consultancy, industry practice or other high-level professional activity.
- Strong communication, organisation, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to inclusive, high-quality and student-centred learning.
- The flexibility and willingness to maintain current professional knowledge, broaden your expertise and contribute to activity across the School.
- Experience of Higher Education teaching, curriculum development, online learning, research publication or income generation, and HEA Fellowship (or willingness to obtain it) would be advantageous.
