Position Type: Full-Time (with a part-time option also considered)

Pay Scale: Sixth Form Colleges' Spine Point 1-9 (£32,178 - £49,725 pro rata)

Choice Teachers are currently working in partnership with a high-achieving sixth form college in the Luton area to recruit a passionate and dedicated A-Level Sociology Teacher

We are looking for an education professional who can inspire post-16 learners and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the sociology curriculum. This vacancy is available on a full-time basis, though we can also accommodate suitably qualified candidates seeking a part-time schedule (up to 3 days a week).

• Pay: Sixth Form Colleges' Spine Point 1-9 (£32,178 - £49,725 pro rata)

• Hold a relevant degree alongside a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or QTLS).

• Demonstrate solid experience teaching A-Level Sociology within a school or sixth form college environment.

• Possess strong classroom management skills and the ability to track student progress effectively.

• Be available to start on the 7th of September 2026.
