Aboutthe role
LMP Education are looking for experienced tutors to deliver ASF remote courses. The role involves accredited delivery and assessment activities for several sectors including Business start-up, Customer Service and Team Leader vocations. This role will be on a 12 month FTC.
Responsibilities [The below listed tasks/responsibilities are not exhaustive:]- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons using a range of teaching methods.
- Complete robust initial assessments and create individual learning plans.
- Deliver accredited and non-accredited qualifications up to Level 3.
- Undertake learner reviews and provide coaching and mentoring.
- Support disengaged learners and implement strategies to improve attendance and achievement.
- Complete marking and assessment within agreed timescales.
- Maintain accurate learner records and evidence for funding and audit.
- Contribute to contractual performance through high-quality teaching, learner achievement and positive progression outcomes
- Work collaboratively with Quality, MIS, Progressions and Enrolment teams to support learner success.
- Participate in CPD and quality improvement activities.
- Implement actions arising from observations, learner feedback and internal quality assurance.
- The role is expected to achieve agreed targets for attendance, retention, achievement, learner satisfaction and timely completion.
- As a Tutor for our Adults Skills Fund division, you will need to be a positive, inspiring educator committed to making a difference. We are interested in speaking with candidate that have experience delivering multiple vocations but, particularly Business start-up, SEND, Team Leading, Customer Service, and Safeguarding.
- Level 2 functional skills, Math's, English ICT.
- Level 3 award assessing, vocationally related achievement or equivalent.
- PTLLS, AET or DET qualified.
- Strong digital skills and experience using learner management systems.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Learner-centred approach.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding, Prevent, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and GDPR.
