Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive comprehensive secondary school in Chatham.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys inspiring students and helping them develop both their practical and theoretical knowledge of Food Technology. The Role
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for:
Planning and delivering engaging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Teaching both practical and theoretical aspects of the Food Technology curriculum
Creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment
Supporting students to develop their practical skills, creativity and confidence
Assessing and monitoring student progress
Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Design Technology department
Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a teacher who is:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
Experienced teaching Food Technology at secondary level
in date health and safety certificate for food.
Confident teaching practical lessons and managing a specialist classroom environment
Able to build positive relationships with students and staff
Organised, reliable and enthusiastic
Committed to supporting students of all abilities
ECTs with relevant Food Technology teaching experience are also encouraged to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
