Computer Science Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 3 Computer Teacher to join an OFSTED rated ‘Good' Secondary school in Luton. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer science and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

The role is suitable for ECT and Experienced teachers. This role is a fixed-term position starting as soon as possible, on Thursdays and Fridays initially until October half term with the potential to extend.

The role:

Delivering high-quality lessons across KS3

Teaching within the computer science curriculum

Teach fundamental computer skills, including software applications, programming, and internet safety

Creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment

Managing classroom behaviour effectively

Assessing and supporting student progress

Requirements:

Hold QTS or relevant teaching qualifications and proven classroom experience

Recent experience teaching within UK secondary schools

Strong subject knowledge within your specialism

Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
