Careers Lead & Work Experience Facilitator at The Cornerstone Academy, part of the United Learning group, and a permanent post starting December 2026. The role leads the academy's careers education, information, advice and guidance programme and runs every part of Year 10 work experience. It carries a high degree of autonomy, suiting a self-driven person who cares about student progression, and works term time plus training days with two weeks of flexible holiday working.
Prior education experience is desirable but not required, as training is given.
- Lead the academy's careers education, information, advice and guidance programme
- Organise and facilitate all aspects of Year 10 work experience
- Outstanding organisational skills
- Outstanding communication skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Managing competing tasks and deadlines
- Working on own initiative and as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS disclosure
- Proactive and flexible approach
- Passion for student progression and outcomes
- Previous education experience
- Training and support provided
- Two weeks of flexible holiday working alongside 38 school weeks
