The Team

You’ll join our Engineering and Maintenance team, which plays a vital role in keeping our operation safe, reliable and running smoothly. Working closely with Duty Engineers, Certifying Licensed Aircraft Engineers and Maintenance Managers, you’ll help us maintain high standards of aircraft performance, technical reliability and safety across our operation.

The Role

As a Mechanic, you’ll carry out routine servicing, scheduled maintenance and defect rectification under the direction of a Duty Engineer or Certifying Licensed Aircraft Engineer. You’ll work in accordance with approved maintenance documentation, regulatory requirements and our own industry-leading safety and technical standards.

  • Perform aircraft maintenance tasks as directed by the Duty Engineer or Certifying Licensed Aircraft Engineer.
  • Complete scheduled tasks in accordance with approved maintenance documentation.
  • Ensure work requiring a Certificate of Release to Service is completed in line with the Maintenance Organisation Exposition, applicable airworthiness requirements and relevant national regulations.
  • Confirm that you fully understand each allocated task and seek guidance whenever required.
  • Provide thorough verbal and documented handovers for partially completed work.
  • Report defects or conditions that could represent a safety risk to the Duty Engineer or Maintenance Manager.
  • Follow all relevant safety precautions, procedures and health and safety requirements.
  • Check that facilities, tools and equipment are suitable for each task, reporting any defects promptly.
  • Comply with Station Standing Instructions and other relevant company procedures.
  • Support additional reasonable duties requested by the Certifying Licensed Aircraft Engineer, Duty Engineer or Maintenance Manager.
What we’re looking for

You’ll bring practical aircraft maintenance capability, strong safety awareness and a collaborative approach. You’ll be comfortable working with detailed technical information, taking ownership of your work and adapting to changing operational priorities.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of applicable airworthiness legislation.
  • Solid practical experience as an Aircraft Mechanic, preferably supporting A320 family aircraft in an operational environment
  • Technical knowledge of aircraft and the practical hand skills required to complete maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to use aircraft maintenance documentation and computer-based reporting and recording systems.
  • Working knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • Ideally, a completed time-served apprenticeship and operational experience in a line maintenance environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
  • A strong focus on internal and external customers.
  • Flexibility to meet deadlines and respond to operational challenges.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • A commitment to taking ownership, delivering results and supporting continuous improvement.
