Are you an experienced Water Treatment Engineer looking for a role offering variety, autonomy and the opportunity to work across some of the UK's most important commercial and industrial sites?

Were working with a leading specialist in water treatment and water hygiene, who are looking to appoint a Water Treatment Engineer to cover clients across Leicester and the wider Midlands region. This is a hands-on field-based role covering cooling towers, steam boilers and domestic water systems, with a strong focus on water treatment, monitoring and compliance.

The Role As a Water Treatment Engineer, youll visit a range of commercial and industrial sites, carrying out routine water treatment and water hygiene services while ensuring systems remain compliant, safe and operating effectively. Your responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out routine water treatment services on cooling towers and evaporative cooling systems
* Monitoring and testing steam boiler water systems
* Conducting water quality testing and analysing results
* Taking domestic water hygiene samples from client sites
* Carrying out temperature monitoring and other routine water hygiene checks
* Collecting samples for laboratory analysis
* Dosing and monitoring chemical treatment programmes
* Identifying issues with water systems and recommending appropriate remedial action
* Completing accurate service reports and maintaining site records
* Liaising with customers and site contacts regularly
* Ensuring all work is carried out in line with relevant legislation, standards and company procedures
* Travelling to customer sites throughout Leicester, the Midlands and surrounding areas About You Were looking for someone with experience within water treatment, water hygiene or a related technical environment. You might already be working as a Water Treatment Engineer, Water Hygiene Engineer or Service Engineer, or have relevant experience within a commercial or industrial water treatment environment. Youll ideally have:
* Experience working with cooling towers and/or steam boiler systems
* Knowledge of water treatment and chemical dosing
* Experience carrying out water sampling and testing
* An understanding of domestic water hygiene and Legionella control
* Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
* Good mechanical and practical ability
* Excellent customer-facing and communication skills
* The ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
