Compliance Officer – Leading Alternative Investment Firm

A leading alternative investment and asset management firm is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to play a key role in supporting its global compliance programme.

• Conduct compliance monitoring and oversee remediation actions
• Maintain and update policies, procedures, and risk assessments
• Provide clear, practical advice on regulatory requirements and compliance matters
• Perform KYC/KYI due diligence to meet AML obligations
• Design and deliver compliance training across the business
• Keep compliance records accurate and up to date
• Manage conflict-of-interest checks and advise on mitigation strategies
• Review and approve marketing materials for regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with international teams on global compliance initiatives

• Minimum 5 years’ regulatory compliance experience in financial services, ideally on the buyside
• Strong knowledge of FCA rules and UK regulatory expectations
• Excellent judgement, integrity, and ability to work independently
• Skilled in preparing compliance documentation and reports
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
