Our client, a power management company, is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their growing team in Luton. This is a long-term position for candidates that are interested in developing their skills and working within a well-established production environment. Training will be provided for this position, and there are excellent opportunities to expand your knowledge and experience within the industry.

Job Role ( Finance Assistant )

• Process supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and on time.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation.
• Raising and reviewing POs and invoices
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain a strong audit trail and support continuous improvement of Finance processes and controls.

Experience required:

• Accounts payable or transactional finance experience
• Exposure to multi-currency transactions
• Understanding of PO, invoice and delegated authority
• Strong attention to detail
• Good Excel skills

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week
• Starting work at 08:00/09:00 each morning
• 45 minute unpaid lunch break

Pay rate:

• £15.38-£19.49 per hour dependent on experience
