Luton are recruiting a Waste Compliance Officer on behalf of Luton Borough Council. The role focuses on engaging residents to dispose of household waste properly, addressing issues such as bins left on pavements, contamination, waste reduction and increasing recycling.
You will use legal powers to secure compliance when needed. You will identify areas with poor waste storage, educate households, assess capacity for off-street storage, and issue notices under the Environmental Protection
