A dedicated Alcohol Support Volunteer will work with the Alcohol Team at Change Grow Live's Luton Recovery Alliance service to support individuals in their recovery journey. The role involves caseload management, assessments, facilitating attendance at detox and community sessions, group work and one‑to‑one support, and may lead to a small caseload of clients.
Responsibilities- Assist the Alcohol Team with caseload management
- Support service users through all aspects of their treatment journey
- Complete assessments as needed
- Encourage attendance at community and inpatient detox sessions
- Assist with group work and one‑to‑one sessions
- Play an active role in helping service users achieve their goals
- Volunteer Induction (mandatory)
- Boundaries/Confidentiality (mandatory)
- Drug Awareness (required)
- Harm Reduction (required)
- Alcohol Awareness (required)
Training dates will be confirmed.
Requirements- Minimum age 18
- Subject to DBS check at an enhanced level
