Hours:

37.5 hours per week Monday‑Friday

Contract:

Permanent – 52 weeks

• Support Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists in delivering high‑quality service to pupils.
• Work closely with the education team and families to provide evidence‑based assessments and interventions.
• Co‑facilitate staff training, attend multi‑agency meetings and contribute to service development.
• Document and support the creation of communication and sensory profiles and contribute to placement plans.
• Assist in observation, deliver individual and group sessions, and maintain records.

• Experience working with young people with special educational needs.
• Independent motivation under the supervision of a qualified clinician.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a creative approach to bespoke interventions.
• Ability to carry out 1:1 and group sessions under supervision.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Experience of working as a therapy assistant or in a similar role is desirable.
• Knowledge of SEN and the ability to work as part of a team.
