The Senior Clinical Fellow will work under the supervision of the Consultants in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and will:

• Provide Registrar level support to the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department.
• Participate in the 1:18 ST3+ rota, including on call
• Communicate effectively with patients, relatives and carers.
• When not directly supervised, Consultant advice and cover is always available. In case of difficulties of any kind, the post holder will seek the advice of the appropriate consultant.
• So far as is consistent with the proper discharge of the above duties, the appointee undertakes to deputise from time to time for absent colleagues.
• The appointee undertakes, exceptionally, to perform additional duties in occasional emergencies and unforeseen circumstances.

• This post is 12 months fixed term
• The post holder will provide Registrar level support to the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department.
