An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Support Worker to join our Community Paediatrics Service. Although based in Luton, you will work with children, young people and families across Bedfordshire and Luton in a range of settings, including clinics, schools, homes and community venues.

We work with neurodivergent children and young people and those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), supporting families through early intervention, practical advice, specialist pathways and partnership working.

You will support the delivery of behaviour, sleep and toileting support strategies, contribute to our Neurodiversity Early Awareness pathway, facilitate parent and carer workshops, and work alongside families and professionals to help children and young people access support that meets their individual strengths and needs.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and compassionate, with a genuine commitment to supporting children and families. Training, support and development opportunities will be provided.

An exciting prospect has arisen for a Clinical Support Worker to work within the Specialist Nursing Service at Redgrave Children’s and Young People’s Centre.

The successful candidate will work in partnership with families and professionals, delivering both clinical care tasks and behaviour, sleep, continence support strategies to make a positive difference to individuals and families.

The post holder will also support the delivery of the Neurodiversity Early Awareness pathway, including assisting with the coordination of information, engagement with families and professionals, and supporting clinicians with pathway-related activities.

Part of the role will be facilitating workshops both on TEAMS and in person. Training, clinical support and induction will be offered to support this process.
