Job summary

AAC Interview Date: 23rd October 2026 Epsom and St Helier are looking for an enthusiastic passionate Consultant to join their experienced team. This 8PA post in Gastroenterology will be across both Epsom and St Helier sites and will support the further development of the Gastroenterology services. The post holder will undertake a range of outpatient clinics including Two-Week Rule and general gastroenterology as well as Endoscopy sessions.

  • To show dynamism, enthusiasm and flexibility in participating in the reshaping of the gastroenterology services at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust and to work closely with the Clinical Leads and Clinical Director of Medicine.
  • To help provide a first class clinical service to all Trust patients.
  • To provide high quality leadership and support to medical staff allied health care professionals, Trust management and support staff across the areas.
  • To support and sustain teaching and research where possible in relevant clinical areas.
  • To work within the framework of applicable Trust policies, procedures, and clinical governance framework.
  • To work within contractual requirements, and in support of applicable Trust clinical development frameworks, business plans, and development strategies.
