Vacancy Type:
Part-time roles available

As a Care Worker, you will be a valued member of our domiciliary care team, providing person-centred support in clients' own homes. You will bring a caring, friendly and compassionate approach to every visit. Comprehensive training and ongoing support will help you reach your full potential.

Main Responsibilities
  • * Provide care and support to older people, people with mental or physical disabilities, and other individuals living in the community.
  • * Deliver personal care and assist with household tasks.
  • * Help with shopping for food and other household essentials.
  • * Prepare and cook meals.
  • * Administer medication when required.
  • * Work flexibly on a rota, including some weekends.
  • * Work primarily on single care calls, while being willing to undertake occasional double care calls where the needs of the client or service require two care workers.

This is primarily a single-care role, and successful applicants will be expected to work independently during the majority of their scheduled calls.

However, there will be occasions where a double-care call is required, for example where a client's care needs involve two care workers for safe moving and handling or other aspects of care. You will therefore be expected to work as part of a two-person care team when required.

  • * Assist with moving and handling using equipment
  • * Excellent communication skills and compassionate demeanour
  • * Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • * Flexibility to work various shifts as required, including weekends if necessary

This role provides an enriching career opportunity for caring individuals committed to making a positive impact on the lives of others.

  • * Blue Light Card paid for the first 12 months.
  • * Enhanced DBS check fully funded.
  • * Employee of the month scheme.
  • * Part-time contracts.
  • * Full training, with support to achieve Health and Social Care qualifications .
