People Specialist

At RATIONAL, people are at the centre of everything we do. As a People Specialist, you ensure a seamless and high-quality employee experience, combining operational excellence with a continuous drive to improve how we work.

You will be part of a wider EMEA People team, working closely with colleagues across countries while acting as a trusted partner to the local business.

Responsibilities
  • Support the full employee lifecycle – from recruitment and onboarding to off‑boarding.
  • Ensure accurate HR administration, contracts, data quality and time management.
  • Take ownership of payroll coordination (including P11D reporting) and travel expense processes (Concur).
  • Support salary reviews, benefits administration and employee queries.
  • Ensure compliance with HR processes, guidelines and statutory requirements.
  • Contribute to HR projects and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Support training coordination, development initiatives and succession planning.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a CIPD qualification.
  • Proven experience in Payroll and pension administration.
  • Very good Office 365 skills; good understanding of HR systems such as SAP, Concur, Success Factors or similar.
  • Strong skills in operational HR execution along the employee life cycle.
  • Analytical, structured way of working and solution‑oriented thinking.
  • High level of social competence and communication skills with a strong service orientation.
  • Confidence in working with HR data, KPIs and reporting.
  • Basic project management skills with the ability to deliver reliably.
  • Strong sense of ownership, reliability and discretion with sensitive information.
  • Collaborative, solution‑oriented mindset with pragmatic approach in an international environment.
