Hybrid – Up to 6 Month Contract – £500 to £550 per day (Inside IR35)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Policy Manager to join a leading organisation on an interim basis. Working closely with senior HR leaders and key stakeholders, you'll lead policy development, provide expert employment law guidance and drive key governance and change initiatives.

This is a hybrid role where you will be needed onsite 3 days a week and they are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and start immediately.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead the review, development and implementation of People policies across the organisation.
  • Ensure policies remain compliant with UK employment legislation and evolving best practice.
  • Provide expert advice on employment law and HR policy to senior stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the policy framework and lead change projects from discovery through to implementation.
  • Support governance, audit and compliance activities relating to HR policies.
  • Maintain policy documentation and guidance using SharePoint and other digital platforms.
  • Develop clear communications to ensure policies are accessible and understood across the business.
  • Build strong relationships across HR and the wider business to promote consistent policy application.

What were looking for:

  • Previous experience in a similar role along with strong knowledge of UK employment law and Employee Relations within a commercial environment.
  • Experience developing and implementing HR or People policies.
  • Proven experience delivering HR change or policy transformation projects.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex legislation into practical guidance.
