Job Description

Your impact – Do you have an eye for detail and a drive to do the right thing? Leonardo has a fantastic opportunity for a Design Authority (DA) for Test Solutions on a permanent basis at our modern and purpose‑built Luton (Capability Green) site.

• Design complex Test Solutions over the full life cycle.
• Familiarisation with Defence related technological solutions.
• Experience in EW techniques.
• Requirements definition and management (DOORS experience beneficial).
• Full life cycle management in test solutions.
• Chairing design reviews.
• Hardware and Software Design and Implementation.
• Coding with Lab View and Test Stand.
• Familiarisation with ATLAS and C desirable.
• Requirement Verification and Compliance.
• Awareness of legislation and Standards that apply within the Industrial workspace (e.g. Electrical, Chemical, Electromagnetic Compatibility).
• Experience/knowledge of Cyber Security within the Test Solution realm.
• Interfacing with Sub‑Contractors.
• Experience of export compliance.

This role is subject to pre‑employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, which could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
