Position: Vulnerability Management Analyst with CNAPP

Hybrid Position
(1 day a week in office at least)

Job Overview:

As a Vulnerability Management Analyst with CNAPP, your primary responsibility will be to identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities within an organization's information systems. You will work closely with IT teams, security personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure that vulnerabilities are promptly addressed and the overall security posture of the organization is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular scans and assessments of the organization's network, systems, and applications using CNAPP and other relevant tools.
  • Analyze scan results to identify security vulnerabilities and assess their severity.
  • Utilize CNAPP effectively to identify and prioritize vulnerabilities.
  • Stay updated on the latest features, updates, and best practices related to CNAPP.
  • Prepare detailed reports on identified vulnerabilities, including their potential impact and recommended remediation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of vulnerabilities and their resolution status.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, system administrators, and application owners to facilitate the timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
  • Provide guidance and support to teams in implementing security best practices.
  • Ensure that vulnerability management processes align with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in incident response activities related to security vulnerabilities, including analyzing incidents and contributing to the development of mitigation strategies.

    Participate in the continuous improvement of vulnerability management processes and procedures.
  • Stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities, and recommend proactive measures.
Qualifications:
  • Certification in relevant areas (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and CNAPP certification if applicable).
  • Proven experience in vulnerability management and assessment.
  • Familiarity with security tools, including CNAPP.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in using vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Strong understanding of common security vulnerabilities and exploits.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and industry standards.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
