We are partnering with a well-established national provider of repairs and maintenance services within the social housing sector. With over 20 years of experience delivering services across social housing, healthcare, and defence, the organisation has built a strong reputation through its fully in-house delivery model. Their services include responsive repairs, maintenance, void refurbishment, and planned works across a diverse portfolio of contracts.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Divisional Director to lead and shape the future of their Repairs & Voids division.

The Opportunity

As Divisional Director, you will play a pivotal role in setting the strategic direction and ensuring the operational and commercial success of the division. You will oversee large-scale repair and void refurbishment programmes, ensuring exceptional service delivery, strong client relationships, and high-performing operational teams.

This is a senior leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about improving housing services and outcomes for communities.

Key Responsibilities 🔧

* Provide strategic leadership and direction across the Repairs and Voids division

* Oversee the delivery of responsive repairs and void refurbishment programmes across multiple contracts

* Ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual obligations and client expectations

* Take full ownership of the divisional P&L, driving financial performance and sustainable growth

* Build and maintain strong relationships with housing associations, local authorities, and key stakeholders

* Lead, mentor, and develop senior operational leaders, including Contract Managers and Operations Managers

* Champion continuous improvement, enhancing productivity, service delivery, and customer satisfaction

* Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies

* Support business growth by identifying new opportunities and contributing to tender processes

What We’re Looking For

* Proven senior leadership experience within repairs, maintenance, or social housing operations

* Strong commercial awareness with experience managing large budgets and P&L responsibility

* Demonstrated ability to lead large operational teams and complex service contracts

* Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships

* A strategic mindset with the ability to drive performance, innovation, and operational excellence
