SALARY: £34,141 pro rata (Actual Salary for 22.5 Hours per Week £20,485 per annum) + Benefits

Job OverviewWe have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Domestic Abuse Helpline Team Leader to coordinate a specialist helpline and community domestic abuse support service.
As the Domestic Abuse Helpline Team Leader you will supervise advisors and volunteers, oversee referrals, allocate cases and maintain accurate records. The Domestic Abuse Helpline Team Leader will work with partners, monitor outcomes, support policy development and promote safeguarding, empowerment and inclusion.
Duties- Service Coordination: Supervise helpline advisors and volunteers, ensuring cases are allocated and services run efficiently
- Referral Management: Review referrals and ensure decisions are consistent, appropriate and properly recorded
- Performance Monitoring: Help ensure key performance indicators, service standards and agreed outcomes are achieved
- Case Management: Oversee accurate data recording on the case management system
- Policy Support: Support the development and review of service delivery policies and procedures
- Partnership Working: Develop pathways with external agencies and service providers
- Staff Management: Manage staff performance, reviews, development needs and any issues through appropriate policies
- Service Flexibility: Participate in the out of hours rota and support refuge services when required
- Values Alignment: Ability to demonstrate values including diversity, inclusion, collaboration, advocacy and innovation

Qualification:
A good standard of education and a relevant qualification in social work, care management, housing, management or a related field - Staff Management: Experience managing staff to deliver focused services and achieve defined outcomes
- Frontline Supervision: Experience supporting and coordinating a frontline team with a diverse caseload
- Policy Knowledge: Experience reviewing or developing operational policies in line with legislation and best practice
- Communication: Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Organisation: Strong time management, planning and problem-solving skills
- Professional Standards: Understanding of data protection, confidentiality, professional boundaries and safeguarding
- Domestic Abuse Knowledge: Knowledge of issues affecting women, children and young people experiencing domestic violence
- Safeguarding Knowledge: Safeguarding adults and children qualification for group five or six, or safeguarding lead experience
- Trauma Informed Practice: Knowledge of trauma informed responses and relevant support interventions

Experience working with specialist and non-specialist domestic violence agencies - Mobility: Valid driving licence with access to a car for business use
