Practice Manager – Luton

Salary: 32,000 – 35,000 + Bonus + Benefits

As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the practice, ensuring high standards of customer care, operational excellence and commercial performance. You will be leading a team of 25-30 staff, driving key performance indicators, conducting regular one-to-ones, supporting staff development and creating a positive, high-performing culture.

• Managing the daily operation of a busy optical practice
• Driving sales performance and KPI achievement
• Leading, motivating and developing a large team
• Conducting appraisals, performance reviews and disciplinary meetings
• Maintaining exceptional customer service standards
• Ensuring smooth operational processes throughout the business
• Working closely with the directors to continue driving the practice forward

• Previous optical management experience is essential
• Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
• Proven ability to lead and develop successful teams
• Comfortable managing performance and driving results
• Highly organised with excellent communication skills
• Experience in a fast paced environment would be advantageous, although candidates from other optical backgrounds will also be considered
• A hands‑on leader who enjoys being involved in all aspects of practice management

• Salary between 32,000 – 35,000 depending on experience
