We are recruiting a workshop supervisor for our Luton workshop. You will lead a team of HGV Technicians and oversee the maintenance of our HGV fleet.

• You will be the bridge between the workshop and the fleet office.
• You will ensure that all relevant information and paperwork is accurate and compliant.
• You will issue jobs to technicians throughout the shift.
• You will be the first point of contact for all technicians.
• You will ensure that all team members complete jobs in a timely manner in line with company procedures.
• You will report any problems to the management team as soon as possible.
• You will ensure that all jobs completed are accurate within agreed times and in the most cost‑effective way possible.
• You will ensure that all workshop personnel wear the correct PPE for jobs, conduct safety‑in‑mind conversations, and report near‑miss incidents.
• You will carry out QC work as required.
• You will work with the parts department to obtain the right parts, at the right price and at the right time, including sundries and consumables.
• You will carry out weekly supervisor checks.

• Team leader or supervisor experience is essential.
• Flexible, forward‑thinking approach.
• Willingness to undertake any qualifications required for the role.
• Experience as an HGV technician.
• Good knowledge of DVSA standards.
• Computer literate.
• Subject to completion of a Basic DBS check.
