A fast‑paced manufacturing business is seeking a Production Planner to support end‑to‑end production scheduling and materials planning across multiple sites.
Production Planner (Temporary Contract)Contract: 6 months minimum, potential extension up to 2 years
Location: Luton
MUST BE IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE
OverviewA fast‑paced manufacturing business is seeking a Production Planner to support end‑to‑end production scheduling and materials planning across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities- Create and maintain weekly and monthly production schedules.
- Translate demand information into accurate production plans.
- Coordinate material requirements and capacity availability.
- Monitor stock levels and support inventory optimisation.
- Manage planning data within ERP/MRP systems.
- Support S&OP activities and highlight risks or deviations.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in production planning.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP) and Excel.
- Ability to manage both short‑ and long‑term planning horizons.
- Strong communication skills across operational teams.
