CAD​/CAM Programmer

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team at Whitehill Tools in Luton. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and programming CNC machines to produce quality components.

The role will be developing CNC programs, setting and operating CNC Mill turn machine for newly developed parts and production components using Esprit Software to produce components on our Mazak Mill/Turn.

• Good understanding of setting & operating CNC Machines.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes.
• Maintain detailed documentation of programming procedures and machine settings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC operations promptly.
• Ensure safety standards are adhered to during all machining activities.
• Assist in the maintenance of CNC equipment to maximize uptime and performance.

• Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency with CAD/CAM software.
• Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
• Previous experience Setting and operating CNC Machines.
• Ideally experience using Mazak Machines.
• Preferably skilled on Esprit Software.
