Join a leading defence manufacturer supporting the assembly, inspection and testing of advanced engineering products used on critical defence programmes. This is a hands-on role within a highly skilled manufacturing environment offering long-term career prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, inspect and certify products to engineering standards.
- Complete manufacturing documentation and data packs.
- Use tools, gauges and measuring equipment.
- Support production, repair and modification activities.
- Work from engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety and workmanship standards.
Essential Qualifications
Either:
- Electrical/Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Apprenticeship (Advanced Level or L3 Standard
- or
- Electrical/Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Level 3 academic qualification (ONC, diploma, etc.)
- and
- Electrical/Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Level 3 vocational qualification (NVQ)
- * Not required if a L3 apprenticeship standard has been achieved
Essential Experience
- Manufacturing, Production or Assembly Technician background
- Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Assembly
- Engineering Production Environment
- ESD Awareness/Training
