We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a highly skilled manufacturing team producing precision-engineered components for critical industries including Oil & Gas, Power, Defence, and Nuclear. Working within a modern machining facility, you will support low-volume, high-quality production using both CNC and manual machine tools.
The RoleAs a CNC Turner you'll be responsible for manufacturing precision parts and sub-assemblies to engineering drawings, ensuring quality, accuracy, and production targets are consistently achieved while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities of the CNC Turner- Set, program and operate CNC turning machines.
- Manufacture components to engineering drawings and tight tolerances.
- Produce and modify tooling, jigs, fixtures, and moulds.
- Inspect and verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment.
- Record work activity using the ERP system.
- Support LEAN and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping.
- Minimum 5 years as a CNC Turner - programming, setting and operating.
- Ability to read and work from ISO engineering drawings.
- Skilled in using micrometres, Vernier callipers, and precision measuring equipment.
- Basic IT skills and understanding of 5S principles.
