We are working with a reputable client based in Luton (LU3) who require a CNC Miller Setter Operator to join their team.
The position is a permanent role paying £32,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE)
Working Hours:
Monday - Thursday 6am - 4pm or 8am - 6pm (40 hours per week)
28 days holiday (including bank holidays) + Peoples Pension.
The ideal candidate will have experience in working within an engineering environment. The right candidate will also have good CNC Miller Setting and Operating experience.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for setting and operating up to 5 axis machinery
- Must be able to read and interpret technical information
- The ability to programme would be an advantage but is not essential
- Familiar with managing and operating Fanuc controls
- Ability to use a range of precision measuring instruments
- Quality checking components
- Other general duties when required
- Minimum of 2 years experience within a similar position
- Must be PC literate
- Must be able to work to tight tolerances
- Excellent attention to detail
