Skilled Manufacturing Operative

Looking for a hands-on role where no two days are the same? The Best Connection is recruiting Skilled Manufacturing Operatives on behalf of our client in Luton, a well-established manufacturer of high-quality cabins and trailers. This position would suit candidates with advanced level skills, whether from manufacturing, construction, maintenance, assembly, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, or a similar background. You'll be working as part of a busy production team, helping to build, prepare and finish products to a high standard before they are delivered to customers.

• Assisting with the manufacture and assembly of cabins and trailers
• Using a range of hand and power tools
• Carrying out basic installation and finishing work
• Supporting electrical and plumbing departments where required
• Keeping workstations organised, clean and safe
• Working to production targets while maintaining quality standards
• Following all health and safety procedures

• Experience in a practical, workshop or manufacturing environment would be beneficial
• Confidence using hand and power tools
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30 with a 30-minute unpaid break per shift

• £14.00 per hour for all hours worked
