You will be travelling to client sites on a regular basis, based in one of our operational centres at Luton, Milton Keynes, or Wellingborough covering the M25 up to Peterborough.

About the Role

This role sits within our Cawleys business arm. As a Regional Business Development Manager at SUEZ, recycling and recovery UK, you will be contributing to an ever growing established recycling and recovery company that is helping customers reduce their impact on the environment.

We have some great services to offer, and we want you to introduce them to new clients in your area. That means spotting development opportunities and making sure SUEZ, recycling and recovery UK, is invited to bid for strategically important regional contracts. You will be developing tailored responses and giving client presentations that will result in new additions to our regional portfolio.

When a new customer agrees to join us, you will be the central point in negotiating and configuring a contract solution. You will then ensure the new contract is implemented smoothly, so that the customer has a totally positive experience.

In short, you will be in charge of refining our regional sales proposition, building our profile within the market place and developing a market position for our brand.

Responsibilities
  • Spot development opportunities and ensure SUEZ is invited to bid for strategically important regional contracts.
  • Develop tailored responses and give client presentations to secure new additions to our regional portfolio.
  • Act as the central point for negotiating and configuring contract solutions.
  • Ensure smooth implementation of new contracts for a totally positive customer experience.
  • Refine our regional sales proposition and build a strong market position for our brand.
Qualifications
  • Waste and resource management industry knowledge is highly desirable, but it is not essential; industry training can be given.
  • Track record of winning and developing new large customers (annualised value of €75 k – £1 M).
  • Financial awareness and commercial astuteness.
  • Experience in a senior sales role with a focus on high service levels, great customer experience, expectation management, and profit maximisation.
  • Strong demonstrable sales experience and previous success.
