Business Development Executive - Luton

Looking to kick‑start or accelerate a career in sales within a fast‑moving, globally connected industry? This Business Development Executive role offers the chance to join a supportive, training‑led environment where you’ll develop into a high‑performing sales professional.

Working with a leading logistics provider, you’ll help SMEs unlock smarter, more cost‑effective shipping solutions, while gaining hands‑on experience across the full sales cycle. With access to major international carriers, you’ll be offering real value to customers from day one.

Your Day to Day New Business Outreach
  • Identify and engage prospective SME clients through outbound calls, email campaigns, and in‑person interactions
  • Research local companies to understand their operations and potential shipping requirements
  • Generate interest and book initial meetings to explore opportunities further
Understanding Customer Needs
  • Conduct discovery conversations to uncover supply chain challenges and inefficiencies
  • Recommend tailored shipping solutions that deliver both financial and operational benefits
  • Present proposals in a clear, commercially focused manner
Sales Development & Deal Closing
  • Take part in ongoing training including coaching sessions, role‑play exercises, and real‑world selling scenarios
  • Build and manage your own pipeline, tracking activity and progress toward targets
  • Close new business with support from experienced mentors and sales leaders
Account Development
  • Support newly won clients to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
  • Strengthen relationships to drive repeat business and long‑term account growth
  • Continuously refine your approach with guidance from dedicated coaches
