Casual Security Officer
and play a key role in protecting our clients' people, property and assets across a range of sites within a designated area. As a
Casual Security Officer
, your key responsibilities include conducting security patrols, monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, controlling site access, and responding to security incidents in line with site procedures. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing keys and access passes, and supporting the day-to-day security operations of each site while providing a professional and welcoming presence at all times.

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to sites. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
• Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors while ensuring the safeguarding of the premises
• Perform routine tests of security equipment where appropriate

• A valid driving licence
• Basic computer literacy

• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
