Our client is an Air-Conditioning Specialist that provides units to Apartments, Listed Buildings and Residential Properties in London and the South East.

They are seeking an experienced, passionate and results-oriented Air Conditioning Installation Engineer who wants to progress their career.

This is an important role, and you will be part of a growing, successful team who are focused on getting the Business to the next level.

A valid and clean UK Driving Licence is required for travel between jobs.

Salary and

Hours:

£54k – £60k
Full-Time; 8am – 4pm (or 8 Hour on-site)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Install and commission air conditioning systems in various residential settings.
Work as a team and deliver air conditioning fit out works.
Read and interpret our client’s Surveyors job sheet to understand system layouts and troubleshooting processes.
Collaborate with team members to develop efficient solutions for any potential problems.
Provide guidance and training to junior staff on best practices in air conditioning installation.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and submit job sheets on time.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in air conditioning technology.
Attend some service and breakdown appointments.

Results Expected in this Position:

Complete all tasks on time and in the correct manner.
Strong communication between the Engineer and the office team.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Installer.
Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on air conditioning systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical information.
Experience in equipment repair and maintenance practices.
Leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior staff members.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) are advantageous.
A valid, and relatively clean UK driving license is required for travel between job sites.
A knowledge of service and breakdowns.

Experience Needed:

Experience installing splits and multi splits.
Experience in residential property installations.
A small amount of plumbing knowledge.
At least 5 years of install experience.
F-GAS Qualification.
