Overview

The role involves providing electrical safety testing services across the UK, helping organisations stay compliant and safe through the inspection and testing of electrical appliances. You’ll work from your home base, visiting client sites to inspect and test portable appliances. Every day is different; you’ll plan your work, manage your time, and deliver professional service to customers. This role suits those who value structure, standards, and responsibility.

• Carry out Portable Appliance Testing at customer sites
• Maintain accurate records and uphold strict safety standards
• Liaise with the Technical and Operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery
• Represent the organisation with professionalism and integrity
• Occasionally work out of hours depending on client access and site requirements

• Fully funded company vehicle for business use
• All testing equipment and uniforms provided
• Ongoing training and development to keep you up to date with current standards

• A strong work ethic and commitment to safety
• The ability to work independently and take responsibility for results
• Good communication and team coordination skills
• A practical, hands-on mindset and attention to detail
• Electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds 2377 (or equivalent) are ideal
