Candidates located in Luton, Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard, Hitchin, Knebworth, St Albans, Hatfield, Watford, Potters Bar, Harlow, Sawbridgeworth, Bishop’s Stortford, Enfield, Cheshunt, Slough, High Wycombe, Beaconsfield, Stoke Mandeville, Aylesbury, Epping, Romford, Hornchurch are preferred.

£25,000 – £40,000 plus training and benefits.

Our client, a leading name in the building services and compliance industry, is looking for a hardworking and knowledgeable Fire Damper Engineer who can confidently test and complete remedial repairs on systems. The successful candidate will be expected to travel in line with company requirements.

• Strong experience working as a Fire Damper Engineer
• Will ideally hold the Fire Damper Testing Ticket
• Working knowledge of BS 9999 guidelines
• Experience working across a range of client sites
• Flexible to travel as required
• Good literacy and IT skills

• Attending client sites to inspect and test Fire Dampers to ensure functionality and compliance
• Identifying system performance issues
• Completing remedial duties and repairs to Fire Dampers, including TEK screws, collars and links
• Fitting of access doors
• Installing Fire Dampers to industry guidelines
• Working to agreed deadlines
• Producing regular service reports
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients
