Mobile Paint​/SMART Repair Technician

Job Summary

Mobile Paint / SMART Repair Technician to support the UK’s largest independent Smart Repair company. Work will be carried out from a fully stocked vehicle, with all necessary tools and equipment, and will cover dealership customers in the Luton, Corby, and Northampton areas.

• A self‑motivated individual who works on their own initiative.
• Minimum 4 years’ paint repair experience (preferably ATA/IMI/QAA and working to PAS 125 formats).
• Ability to paint a minimum of two vertical panels and blend.
• Great attention to detail.
• Been customer‑facing in former roles.
• Good command of English and maths.
• Prepared to travel on a daily basis in and around Luton, Northampton and Corby.
• Flexible nature.
• Good time keeper.
• Carry out paint/body (SMART repair) work within agreed timescales.

• Prior experience as a Paint Technician and/or Paint / Bodyshop Technician, including mobile work experience.
• Ability to work in a busy and demanding environment on a mobile basis.
• Hard‑working, reliable and flexible approach to work.
• Able to carry out high standards of workmanship.

Salary estimated at £45,000 to £55,000 per annum + commission bonuses. Working hours Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 5:30 pm. 29 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays, and Stakeholder Pension Scheme.
