As a Volunteer Criminal Justice Support Recovery Worker with Change Grow Live you will be working in close collaboration with Criminal Justice Recovery Workers and Probation Service, helping people who use our services get to where they want to be.
With this role you’ll be working as part of the Criminal Justice team, based in CGL, Luton Recovery Alliance service.
No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.
Responsibilities- Assist recovery coordinators in their caseload management, supporting the service user through all aspects of their treatment journey and community order or licence conditions
- Complete assessments, risk management plans and undertake one‑to‑one work with service users
- Work with colleagues to run the support group for service users under the Criminal Justice Team
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at an enhanced level
- Volunteer Induction training (mandatory)
- Boundaries/Confidentiality training (mandatory)
- Drug Awareness training (required)
- Harm Reduction training (required)
- Alcohol Awareness training (required)
