Position: Java Spring Boot Developer

Java Spring Boot Developer – Azure & Event-Driven Architecture (Hybrid, Luton)

Location:

Luton (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

Contract:

6 Months | £500/day (Inside IR35)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Java Spring Boot Developer with expertise in Azure services and event-driven architectures to join a dynamic tech team. You will design and develop microservices, implement messaging-based communication patterns, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot.

* Implement event-driven solutions with Azure Event Hub, Kafka, or Rabbit

MQ.

* Design and integrate RESTful APIs and asynchronous communication patterns.

* Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure (AKS).

* Collaborate with Dev Ops teams for CI/CD, containerization, and cloud infrastructure.

* Write unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.

Essential

Skills & Experience:

* Strong Java and Spring Boot development skills.

* Hands-on experience with Azure services (Event Hub, Service Bus, Storage, AKS).

* Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and messaging patterns.

* Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

* Knowledge of Cosmos DB or Postgre

SQL.

* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
