B1 Licensed Engineer – Permanent

Overview

We are recruiting three experienced B1 Licensed Engineers to join our established and reputable engineering team at the Luton base. The role offers a full‑time, permanent placement with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, supporting both scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance for our prestigious clientele.

Responsibilities
  • Perform line and base maintenance in accordance with Part 145 regulations.
  • Certify aircraft within your approval limits and oversee maintenance activities to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer and crew enquiries, resolving issues to completion and providing regular feedback.
  • Coordinate and communicate with all relevant departments to meet operational requirements.
  • Work flexibly, including alternative shift times and travel to other locations as needed.
Qualifications
  • UK Part‑66 B1 and/or B2 Licence (type ratings on Bombardier Challenger 300/350, 604/605 or Global preferred).
  • Experience in Corporate/Private Aviation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and travel.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
  • 5‑year checkable history required for airport .
  • Sponsorship may be available for the right candidate, subject to licence requirements.

Working Hours

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off. Standard hours 07:00–19:00 or 13:00–01:00, 11½ hours plus a 30‑minute unpaid break (total 12 hours). The average working week is 40 hours. Overtime is paid or compensated with lieu time, agreed in advance.
