Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for experienced Class 1 drivers in Luton.
Pay Rate:£17.00 to £19.00 per hour
You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods across the UK. Work may include trunking, store deliveries, RDC-to-RDC runs, container work, or general haulage depending on client requirements.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Safely operate articulated vehicles (trucks/trailers)
- Transport goods between depots, warehouses, and customer sites
- Ensure all paperwork and/or electronic PODs are completed accurately
- Comply with tachograph rules, driving hours, and road safety regulations
- Load/unload where required (depending on role)
- Maintain professional communication with planners, customers, and site staff
- Valid Category C+E (Class
1) driving licence - Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph card
- Minimum 2 years experience.
- Good understanding of UK road networks and driving regulation
