Looking for your next opportunity as a Class 1 Driver? We're recruiting for an experienced driver in Luton to join a growing plant hire business offering a competitive salary, excellent benefits and a stable Monday-Friday working week.
This is a great opportunity for a reliable, safety-conscious driver with previous plant hire or construction industry experience. You'll be responsible for delivering and collecting a range of plant and equipment, providing a professional service to customers and ensuring all journeys are completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
As a Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities will include:
Safely delivering and collecting plant and equipment from customer sites
Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
Maintaining accurate tachograph and driving records
Communicating professionally with customers and site teams
Ensuring vehicles are kept clean, presentable and well maintained
Following transport legislation, health and safety procedures and company policies
What we're looking for
We're looking for an experienced HGV driver with a strong understanding of transport safety and customer service. You'll need:
A full Category C+E driving licence
A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
A CSCS Site Visitor Card
Previous experience working as a Class 1 / HGV Driver
Essential experience within the plant hire or construction industry
A reliable, professional and safety-focused approach
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently
