Senior Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable independent automotive specialist, for the position of Senior Vehicle Technician in Lutterworth, Leicestershire.

This is a highly sought-after opportunity for an experienced technician eager to work in a supportive environment, specialising in diagnostics and complex repairs.

Basic salary ranging from £35,000 to £45,000, dependent on experience and qualifications

Duties of a Senior Vehicle Technician:

Diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical faults efficiently and accurately
Performing advanced repairs across a variety of vehicle makes and models
Conducting servicing and maintenance to the highest standards
Utilizing modern diagnostic equipment for fault identification
Assisting and supporting junior technicians as required
Ensuring all work complies with safety standards and quality expectations
Maintaining precise workshop documentation and records

Requirements of a Senior Vehicle Technician:

Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with strong diagnostic capabilities
Confident performing complex mechanical and electrical repairs
Outstanding fault-finding skills
Proactive work ethic and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
Full valid UK driving licence
