• Diagnose problems with equipment and implement solutions to minimise downtime using root‑cause analysis.
• Ensure all preventive maintenance checks are carried out On Time In Full (OTIF).
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs and preventive tasks, in the CMMS.
• Manage contractors on site—direct and third‑party.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and implement changes to enhance performance and reliability of sorters and conveyors.

• Minimum qualification in electrical, electrical installation or related level 3 qualification.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Field Service Engineer or Installation Engineer in logistics, automation, manufacturing, production or sortation environments.
• Strong autonomous fault‑finding skills, root‑cause analysis and quick preventive solutions.
• Knowledge of PLC controls (Siemens or Allen Bradley) is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient PC skills (Microsoft Office, BMS, maintenance engineering software).
