Your new role Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the delivery of MEP design packages from concept through to construction and commissioning. Coordinating interfaces between MEP, civil, structural and architectural disciplines. Reviewing design submissions to ensure compliance with project standards, specifications and statutory requirements. Supporting design assurance, verification and approval processes. Participating in design reviews, technical workshops and value engineering initiatives. Monitoring design progress and helping resolve technical challenges.
Collaborating with delivery teams to ensure designs are practical, efficient and buildable. Supporting design change management and configuration control processes. Maintaining accurate design records, reports and project documentation. Building effective relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and key project stakeholders. What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
Experience with in MEP design, design coordination or engineering management environments. A strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and public health building services systems. Experience working on large-scale construction, infrastructure or engineering projects. Knowledge of design management processes, technical assurance and risk management principles. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
