Position Overview:
Transforming infrastructure into a strategic business enabler through automation, resilient cloudand on-premise platforms, and secure, scalable Dev Sec Ops practices that accelerate innovation and future-proof operations.
Key Responsibilities:
CI/CD Pipelines Design,build and maintain automated build, testand deployment pipelines. Cloud & Platform Management Optimise Azure andon-premises application environments. Monitoring & Observability Maintain monitoring,logging and performance across platforms. Security & Compliance Embed security best practices and ensureISO/compliance standards. Automation Develop scripts andtools to improve efficiency and reducemanualeffort. Collaboration Partner with Development and IT teamsto support application delivery and resolve deployment issues. ITIL Operations Manage incidents,requests and problem resolution across theDevOps and application stack.
Qualifications and
Experience:
- 3 years' experience in a Dev Opsrole, ideally withina security-focusedor highly regulated environment. Strong Azure expertise , including the design, deployment and management of cloud infrastructure. Proven experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins and Git Lab CI . Experience designing and managing complex Microsoft-based infrastructure environments. Hands-on knowledge of containerisation and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes . Solid understanding of networking, infrastructure security and Windows/Linux system administration.
Experience implementing Git Ops principles andmodern deployment strategies. Working knowledge of Agile andDevOps methodologies andbest practices. Scripting skills in Power Shell, Bash and/or Python toautomate operational tasks. Excellent troubleshooting, communication and technical documentation skills. Desirable:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineeringor equivalent industry experience. Professional certifications in Cloud technologies and/or Dev Ops practices (e.g. Microsoft Azure, Azure Dev Ops , Kubernetes). Full UK driving licence.
